UMPIRE DRESS

The perfect fall dress—somewhere between a shirt dress and a lightweight trench. Cut from black lightweight gabardine, its architectural construction draws from the 16th-century era in which Jeu de Paume took its defining form.

Capitonné detailing outlines the sculpted shoulders, waist and elongated panels, tracing the shape of the dress before releasing into a softly flared, floor-length skirt. Matte press studs run from the neckline to the hem, allowing the dress to be worn fully closed or opened from the bottom to adjust its movement.

A matching capitonné belt passes beneath the structured front detailing and ties at the back, defining the waist without interrupting the design. Deep side pockets complete the silhouette—because where else would you keep the tennis balls?
