ABOUT FERF

FERF is an independent womenswear label founded in Cairo by designer Fareeda Abolnour.

Rooted in a fascination with fashion across eras, FERF draws from an ever-changing world of references — from vintage silhouettes and menswear tailoring to art, history, objects and unexpected cultural details.

Rather than subscribing to a single aesthetic, each collection begins with a different idea and develops its own visual language. Across them, recurring FERF signatures emerge: exaggerated proportions, nostalgic cuts, unconventional construction and a playful approach to femininity.

The result is clothing that feels familiar and unexpected at once — designed for women who dress instinctively rather than according to a prescribed idea of style.

The name FERF comes from Fareeda’s lifelong nickname, making the label an extension of its designer and the way she has always approached clothes: curiously, intuitively and without allegiance to one particular school of fashion.
